What’s the point of my life?

The point of my life, my purpose for living, is to be both a recipient of God’s love and a channel of His love to others.

Why is there suffering?

God has given man a free will – the choice to obey Him or not to do so. People have decided to turn from God and to take matters into their own hands – due to foolishness, ignorance, selfishness and pride. Because of this, much suffering in this world is caused by man. In addition, when Adam first sinned, all of creation was corrupted along with him. Due to the brokenness of all of creation, we experience what we refer to as “natural disasters.”

Who is Jesus?

Jesus is God; a member of the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit); the Son of God. He is the Lamb of God – given by God, to God, in payment for our sins. He is our Savior – saving us from death, from sin and from the penalty of sin. He entered into the human race about 2,000 years ago, but has existed forever. He has no beginning, and will have no end. Through Him all was created.

Does God really exist?

Yes, He does. There is convincing evidence of this for those who look and are willing to see it: 1) in His creation – the intricacies and complexities of it; 2) in the Bible – the fulfillment of prophecies and of His promises, and in the cohesiveness of books of the Bible written over a period of thousands of years; and 3) in the changed lives of those who believe and follow Him.
